1inch of rainfall, on a 1000 sq. ft. roof, equals 620 gal of rainwater

How much water can your home capture? The above drawing gives a rule-of-thumb estimate. If you want to be more accurate here’s the math –

Average rainfall per month x roof area (sq. ft) x .62 (roof-type coefficient) x The filter collection efficiency of .90 = gallons per month

That’s a lot of FREE water!

With this amount of harvested rainwater you can replace, or supplement, your municipal or well water supply.

Rainwater Harvesting is simple, yet there are a few factors that are very important to have correct before installing the system. We have ARCSA accredited professionals, on staff, for you to work with as you begin your rainwater harvesting journey.
